With his background in Civil Engineering, he has executed multiple infra projects over the last 25 years, which include Land Development, Construction of Sports Infra facility, Roads and Ports. Golf Course for Oxford Village, the International Cricket Stadium at Gahunje near Pune for the Maharashtra Cricket Association under BCCI, premium residential sites like Clover Highlands and Florida Estate at Mundhwa, are some of his select achievements in earthmoving.
He has also executed Canal Works and Dam Works for Irrigation Department, Government of Maharashtra as well as Road Works and Culverts for MIDC.
A 200+ acre Port and Ship Repairing Facility for Chougule Industries, Goa and infra facilities for JSW at Jaigad near Ratnagiri are among his most prestigious projects. He has also executed various land development projects for Public Limited Companies and MNCs like Alfa Laval India Ltd, Venkateshwara Hatcheries Ltd, Serum Institute of India, GKN Driveline India Pvt. Ltd., Hiranandani Group, K Raheja Group, Kohinoor Group, Volkswagen India Ltd., Godrej Properties Ltd., Dr. D Y Patil Medical College Campus at Pimpri, MIT – Kothrud, Kohinoor International Business School at Khandala, Cosmos Bank Head Office Infra Development at Pune, among others.
He was also engaged in land development works of various Hi-end hotel projects like Hotel Conrad Pune, Hotel Parc Estique, Hotel Sayaji, Hotel Rami International, Hotel St. Laurn, Hotel O, Hotel Deccan Rendezvous and Talera Group of Hotels.
Endowed with a Masters in Civil Engineering, Prof. Sudhir Sabnis is a seasoned and passionate tutor, who has shared his knowledge of soil mechanics and concrete engineering with students studying in various engineering colleges for over 15 years. He has also been working as Director Engineering at Sumedha, and is engaged in providing innovative designs for Retaining Walls, which are executed by Sumedha on Design & Build Basis. His combined academic and industry experience of more than 30 years forms the solid base of his practice, where he has also developed and implemented innovative, cost-effective methods of strengthening weak foundations below structures such as wind turbines and factory sheds.
